Our Approach

We originally had Country Creek Builders update our kitchen and exterior of our home. We had such a great experience that we hired them back to remodel two bathrooms. There are several reasons for our success in dealing with Country Creek Builders: integrity, professionalism, friendly service, experience and flexibility. Up front pricing ensured that we paid exactly what was agreed to in the contract.  Dan’s crew were trustworthy, professional and friendly, which is important when someone is going to spend that much time in and around your house. The part we were most impressed with was the quality of workmanship and creativity in the tiling installation. Also, Country Creek Builders finished the entire job on schedule! We found them very easy to work with, each job was completed in a timely manner and all turned out fantastic.

 

Dan and the team at Country Creek Builders have completed two bathroom remodels at my home.  I was so pleased after they completed the remodel of our master bathroom; they were my first call when we decided to remodel our kid’s bathroom.  The team is extremely professional and does very high quality work.  Both projects were completed on time and within the estimate provided at the beginning of the projects.  We were extremely satisfied with both projects and will use Country Creek Builders for any future remodeling projects at our home.

We used Dan this past March of 2011 to finish our basement. I honestly was very nervous about hiring a contractor with all the rumors of horror stories. What I liked about Dan was that he was straight forward and organized. He was also always available by phone and email. Dan put together an awesome calendar schedule for me that outlined exactly what was happening on which day. He also was very honest about costs with us. He was creative as well. If there was anything I didn’t think looked right, I would tell him, and sure enough it was fixed the next day. He was a no excuses kind of guy. He takes pride in his work. It met my expectation and there were never any hidden costs. Anything that we ran into, Dan was very upfront about with me and would provide me an updated statement. I certainly would use him again.

I am extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship that Dan applies to his business. Dan and his son just completed a very large tile project in my master bath. Dan is extremely picky with his work, and the finished product turned out incredible! This is the second project that I have hired Dan to do, and his standards of perfection are still in place – Great job!

I would, and have, recommend Country Creek Builders to anyone!  They were great! Dan gave me a detailed and accurate quote and timeline.   He responded promptly to emails/phone calls, communicated thoroughly, and has done a beautiful job on my kitchen and laundry room.   He was also very patient with my questions and, at times, indecisiveness.  I felt he really cared about “taking care” of me and my project. From the start, Dan was straightforward in his explanation of the process and he patiently answered all of our questions throughout the entire project.  Dan was creative in dealing with some design issues with our basement, including: adding soffits to the ceiling in one room to hide the heating ductwork in one corner, shifting a doorway to allow more room in the bar and TV areas, creating an arched alcove and moving back the storage door under the stairs to allow enough space for a pool table in the game room.  They stayed on schedule despite having to take unplanned time to reframe the exterior walls because the original wall framing (from when the house was built) was warped.  Dan and his team were professionals, did quality work and were a pleasure to work with.  He took our dream and made it a reality. We couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.  We love our basement!

We engaged Country Creek Builders for a large bathroom remodeling project. We are absolutely thrilled with the new bathroom and the fantastic job that Dan Drenckhahn and his crew did for us. They worked many long hours and persisted through some unforeseen problems that a previous contractor had left. We recently hired Country Creek Builders to finish our basement. Having had a horrible experience with a contractor the year prior on another home project, we spent a great deal of time vetting different contractors, getting estimates, and checking references. As a stay-at-home parent with two young children, I was also looking for a company that would be professional with great communication. I wanted to be informed about who was at my house and when they would be there. And last (but of course not least), my husband and I were concerned about staying on budget.

Country Creek was able to meet or exceed our expectations on all accounts. Dan promptly answered numerous emails and phone calls about our estimate until my husband and I were comfortable that the bottom line would meet both our tastes and our budget. Dan also provided us with a calendar at the beginning of the project that delineated the stages of the project and when they would be completed. Any hiccups during the project were discussed with us and we were informed if the project calendar changed.

Lastly, I was most impressed with the team at Country Creek. The crew that was on-site was professional and courteous. They made a big effort to make sure our lives were not disrupted during the project. The team was always conscious of making the construction experience better for us. For example, the project site was cleaned and swept every night, the supplies for the project were brought through a basement window, and there was always time to answer our day-to-day questions. My children were quite sad when the project was over as their “friends” wouldn’t be in the basement anymore.

I will be calling Dan for future projects and recommending him to friends and neighbors. We are very pleased with our finished basement.
