We recently hired Country Creek Builders to finish our basement. Having had a horrible experience with a contractor the year prior on another home project, we spent a great deal of time vetting different contractors, getting estimates, and checking references. As a stay-at-home parent with two young children, I was also looking for a company that would be professional with great communication. I wanted to be informed about who was at my house and when they would be there. And last (but of course not least), my husband and I were concerned about staying on budget.

Country Creek was able to meet or exceed our expectations on all accounts. Dan promptly answered numerous emails and phone calls about our estimate until my husband and I were comfortable that the bottom line would meet both our tastes and our budget. Dan also provided us with a calendar at the beginning of the project that delineated the stages of the project and when they would be completed. Any hiccups during the project were discussed with us and we were informed if the project calendar changed.

Lastly, I was most impressed with the team at Country Creek. The crew that was on-site was professional and courteous. They made a big effort to make sure our lives were not disrupted during the project. The team was always conscious of making the construction experience better for us. For example, the project site was cleaned and swept every night, the supplies for the project were brought through a basement window, and there was always time to answer our day-to-day questions. My children were quite sad when the project was over as their “friends” wouldn’t be in the basement anymore.

I will be calling Dan for future projects and recommending him to friends and neighbors. We are very pleased with our finished basement.

We experienced several leaks in our house recently that led to water damage in both the kitchen and the basement.  Dan at Country Creek Builders was recommended to us, and we are so glad he was!  Dan was very straight-forward about costs and his time availability.  His before-work estimate was exactly what we paid.  Dan kept to the time table he laid out for us and patiently answered our many questions.  Our remodeled kitchen looks fabulous.  We wouldn’t hesitate to seek Dan and Country Creek Builders’ services again for our building and remodeling needs.

We engaged Country Creek Builders for a large bathroom remodeling project. We are absolutely thrilled with the new bathroom and the fantastic job that Dan Drenckhahn and his crew did for us. They worked many long hours and persisted through some unforeseen problems that a previous contractor had left. Always unflappable and engaging, it was a pleasure having him and his workers in our home for the duration. Every detail was worked on to perfection and any questions or concerns were immediately handled. His guidance on some issues was invaluable. We are loving our kitchen you and your company built for us this past January.  We even wrote about it in our family Christmas letter and included a link to your company’s site so they could see a picture of our kitchen and the other work you have done. Dan and his crew did a fantastic job on my kitchen remodel.  His attention to detail was impressive and his design ideas were great!  The crew was always on time and kept the work area neat.  The job was finished a week ahead of schedule and on budget.  I highly recommend Country Creek Builders and will be using Dan and his crew on future projects!

We hired Country Creek Builders to finish our basement.  This was our first experience with a major home project and were nervous because of the typical contractor horror stories.  However, our experience with Country Creek Builders was nothing like that. From the start, Dan was straightforward in his explanation of the process and he patiently answered all of our questions throughout the entire project.  Dan was creative in dealing with some design issues with our basement, including: adding soffits to the ceiling in one room to hide the heating ductwork in one corner, shifting a doorway to allow more room in the bar and TV areas, creating an arched alcove and moving back the storage door under the stairs to allow enough space for a pool table in the game room.  They stayed on schedule despite having to take unplanned time to reframe the exterior walls because the original wall framing (from when the house was built) was warped.  Dan and his team were professionals, did quality work and were a pleasure to work with.  He took our dream and made it a reality. We couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.  We love our basement!

I am extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship that Dan applies to his business. Dan and his son just completed a very large tile project in my master bath. Dan is extremely picky with his work, and the finished product turned out incredible! This is the second project that I have hired Dan to do, and his standards of perfection are still in place – Great job!

Dan put together an awesome calendar schedule for me that outlined exactly what was happening on which day. He also was very honest about costs with us. He was creative as well. If there was anything I didn’t think looked right, I would tell him, and sure enough it was fixed the next day. He was a no excuses kind of guy. He takes pride in his work.

Dan and the team at Country Creek Builders have completed two bathroom remodels at my home.  I was so pleased after they completed the remodel of our master bathroom; they were my first call when we decided to remodel our kid’s bathroom.  The team is extremely professional and does very high quality work.  Both projects were completed on time and within the estimate provided at the beginning of the projects.  We were extremely satisfied with both projects and will use Country Creek Builders for any future remodeling projects at our home.
