When the Willett Family purchased their home in Minnetonka Minnesota, they knew that the master bath needed updating. Being new to the area they were unsure of who they could trust to remodel their master bathroom. After seeing the Country Creek Builders trucks, vans and trailers repeatedly in the neighborhood they checked out our web site to learn more about Country Creek Builders and the quality of work that we do. After paging through our web site and seeing the large number of bathroom renovations that we had previously completed, they called to schedule a consultation for their master bathroom remodel.
THE FIRST MEETING – EXPRESSING YOUR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS
During our first meeting, it was determined that the Willett family liked the basic layout of their master bathroom, but they wanted a larger walk in shower with a bench, a new painted vanity with a solid surface countertop and undermount sinks, and a new soaking tub. After discussing designs, choices of different materials such as tile, quartz versus granite countertops; and painted versus stained cabinets and a budget, they decided to move forward with Country Creek Builders to help them with their project.
MAKING THE SELECTIONS THAT FIT YOUR STYLE
All homeowners receive material selection assistance when they choose to work with Country Creek Builders on their bathroom renovation. We have found that most homeowners feel overwhelmed when it comes to selecting which tile will complement the granite or quartz that they like, deciding on all the different options when it comes to cabinetry and of course the assisting with the countertops – quartz or granite.
The tile that was selected for this master bathroom was purchased from The Tile Shop. The floor tile used is a 12 x 24 Metropolis dark grey polished porcelain tile that provides a clean modern look. The shower walls design consisted of two different tiles; A Hal Blanco ceramic 8 X 20 wall tile was used for the longer wall in the shower – as well as the tub surround. This type of tile added some depth and texture to the wall tile. The tile that was selected for the shower control valve wall is an Arabesque Bianco Gloss ceramic tall that is based on the celebrated Imperial Bianco collection. This accent wall added an extraordinary option to bring an amazing design element to the shower.
Aggranite Spring Quartz was selected for the vanity countertop to compliment the painted vanity. A classic designed Oil Rubbed Bronze plumbing fixtures were selected from the Delta line to bring a modern look and feel to this master bathroom renovation.
