In your home, there’s no room more personal than your master bathroom. The first place you go after waking up, and the place you rely on at the end of the day, it only makes sense that you want your bathroom to be as personalized, luxurious, and comfortable as possible. After all, it’s not a guest bathroom — it’s yours.
Now that a new decade has officially started, it’s time to ask yourself: does your master bathroom bring you optimal enjoyment? Does it make you feel relaxed when you enter? If you’ve been considering a bathroom remodel, Country Creek Builders is your trusted partner to make it happen. Take a look at a recent remodel we did on a home in Prior Lake and get inspired to turn your bathroom into the luxurious space you deserve.
What We Removed
The homeowners we worked with were excited to give their master bathroom an entirely fresh look and feel. We decided that a full gut and remodel would suit their preferences best, so we removed the soaking tub and tub framing, relocated the toilet in order to make room for a larger, more luxurious shower, removed the oak vanity and laminated countertops.
What We Added
With over 150 bathroom remodeling projects under our belt, we knew exactly how to take the original bathroom and turn it into an oasis. After discussing the project with the homeowners, we decided to include a completely new electrical plan which a recessed light in shower, split the vanity wall light into two new light fixtures, wired for LED tape lights for the vanity toe kick area, and installed electric heat for the floor for added comfort. We also defined the space by framing a half wall to separate the new shower from the toilet area.
Once we completed the foundation for the new aesthetic, we focused on the details that truly make a bathroom feel lavish and new. Our team installed subway tile for the shower (Hall Blanco Ceramic Wall Tile 8 X 20), deco accent tile on the shower walls and the back of the recessed shelf (Blakely Stria Glass), and tile for the bathroom floor (Clay Taupe Porcelain 12 x 24).
To round out the look, we decided on fresh paint colors to illuminate the bathroom’s features and provide a lush “glow.” Our team used Sherwin Williams Alabaster on the vanity with flat-panel doors and drawers, and painted the wall’s trim to match. To finish the project, we included a side linen cabinet to complete the vanity, two wood mirror frames to match, and installed Silestone Ariel on the vanity top and shower ½ wall top. The finished product? Absolutely magnifique.
