As with so many homeowners, this Lakeville couple wanted to remove the outdated Oak cabinets, laminate countertops and give their kitchen a fresh, new look. Country Creek Builders removed the existing tile from the floors and removed all of the cabinets. We also removed the soffits to allow the new upper cabinets to extend up to the ceiling – giving them much needed storage space. We also removed the pantry closet to allow for a custom built pantry cabinet with pull outs to take its place. A mix of Walnut and white enamel cabinets were custom built, included paneled ends and fronts on the snack bar island.
The homeowners really wanted to have a raised snack bar for their growing family, but the patio door opened right next to were the new island fit into the design. In order to solve this problem; Country Creek Builders changed out the patio door with a new one – installing the glass fixed panel close to the island versus the moving panel like the old door.
We installed Antique hand scraped Asian Walnut wood with a Coffee finish in the kitchen, dining room, hall and front foyer. Opalescence granite was fabricated and installed on the countertops. The Country Creek team then installed Ankong Silver Slate for the backsplash. A new Blanco sink was installed along with a Delta “Leland” faucet.
