Ask nearly any other contractor how long it will take them to complete a basic kitchen remodel and you’ll almost always get the standard response: eight to twelve weeks, give or take. At Country Creek Builders, we simply think that’s too much time to ask you to put up with the inconvenience of not having a kitchen, especially for a project that shouldn’t take nearly that long anyway. Our team is hands-on, hardworking, and committed to finishing every project in the amount of time that you want and in the way that you want it done.
The most recent example of our dedication to efficiency and quality is a kitchen remodel we did for a family in Lakeville. Though the remodel required a complete gut of the area, we managed to finish the work in less than four weeks, starting on December 27th and wrapping it up by January 21st. As soon as the client explained what they were looking for, we jumped right in by removing the old cabinets, countertops, and old tile flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and front foyer; dismantling the broken French door leading to the four season porch; peeling off the old wall paper, and removing one of the bay windows to the porch and filling the remaining hole to make room for the built-in pantry.
After getting rid of all the old material, we went to work installing new red oak flooring with a beautiful matted finish (the traditional bright, shiny yellow finish that most people know just didn’t do the space justice), new rustic hickory cabinets, and a new stainless steel sink and faucet. We also added in four recessed lights, two pendant lights, and under cabinet lights, put in new tile backsplash, gave the kitchen a much needed fresh coat of paint, and also repainted the discolored popcorn-texture ceiling.
The kitchen looks great, and the clients couldn’t be happier that they get to enjoy it now instead of having to wait four more weeks!
