We’ve officially completed our work on the Prior Lake project! After 15 years of battling leaks, the owners of this beautifully remodeled home can finally declare themselves winners in the fight against water damage. In order to repair the existing damage and protect the house against future leaks we tore up the subfloor in affected rooms, installed new flooring, reframed and reinsulated the walls with foam spray insulation, and installed new exterior sheathing. With winter fast approaching and spring flooding coming soon after that, it was especially important that we solved the homeowner’s water problems both right away and once and for all. Nobody should have to deal with a leaky home for as long as they did, and we’re glad that we could step in and help out.
In addition to making the house dry and leak free for the first time in a decade and a half, we also installed and enhanced multiple skylights, redid large portions of the roof, removed and replaced over 30 windows and doors, and installed EFIS stucco and over 1000 square feet of natural Telluride Colorado stone on the exterior of the house.
The home looks absolutely stunning and we are incredibly proud of the outcome. Though it was one of the most challenging projects we’ve ever worked on, it was well worth it in the end. If the house is dry and the owners are happy that means we’ve done our job well, and that’s the best we can ask for with any project.
