This home repair project in Bloomington involved removing roof trusses that were damaged and broken by a falling tree. Since this was an older home – we had to hand frame the new roof trusses. We then blew in new insulation due to the minimal amount that was previously in the home. We then installed new roof sheeting, new ice and water shield, and then new shingles. The challenge was to find white soffit and facial materials that would match to rest of the house. When none could be found, Country Creek Builders purchased a roll of flat stock white soffit material – and formed it on site to match the existing soffit and facia.
