Eden Prairie Master Bathroom Makeover

Country Creek Builders recently finished a master bathroom remodeling project for the Pratt Family in Eden Prairie. We turned this master bathroom into a Master Suite in this Eden Prairie bathroom remodel.

Country Creek Builders recently finished a master bathroom remodeling project for the Pratt Family. In this Eden Prairie bathroom remodel it was time to remove the old oak doors and trim, outdated tile and the fiberglass shower. With these changes and more, we turned this master bathroom into a Master Suite.

Listening to the Customer

One of the biggest “wants” for the Pratts was bringing natural light into their bathroom – so adding a window was paramount in the design of this project. Country Creek Builders listened to all their wants and desires and designed a master bathroom that also included adding a second sink. We separated the tub from the shower, creating a relaxing soaking tub area, and added a transom window above the soaking tub. The Pratts also wanted the shower to feel open and not confined. We designed a new shower that included a half wall with glass on the upper portion of the wall. This allowedg more natural light into the shower.

Timeless Tile Work

The Pratts wanted to keep the tile timeless and clean for their project, so Imperial Bianco 7.5 X 15 CM white subway tile was selected for the shower and tub splash. We installed a basket weave Mountain white for the shower pan tile. To tie the floor tile into the shower and tub tile, glass Platinum Napier accent tile was installed in the shower, tub splash and the vanity splash. A Scotland Antracita 30 X 60 CM tile was installed in an offset brick pattern on the floor and tub deck. We incorporated many recessed niches in the shower to give these homeowners options for placing personal care products out of the way and off the floor. We cut down the floor tile and installed it as wall base, preventing water worn wood base that is common in most bathrooms.

Amenities

The toilet area was separated from the main bathroom area by adding a wall and a privacy door, giving this project a clean crisp look and feel. The electrical and lighting were completely upgraded. We added recessed lights for the shower and the soaking tub area and separated the vanity light into three individual fixtures. The vanity and tub front were built in a shaker style from Poplar wood with a dark walnut stain color. Full extension, soft close slides were installed for the drawers and soft close hinges were installed on the doors. Three white painted mirror frames were installed above the vanity to give this master bath remodel a unique look. Berenson Satin Nickel pulls were installed on the vanity.A 3CM “Shivling” white granite was selected for the vanity and finished off by installing two Kohler square vessel sinks and two Delta stainless steel vessel faucets. A Delta stainless steel tub filler kit was installed in the corner the tub deck to give this soaking tub a unique look. The design and completion of this Eden Prairie bathroom remodel incorporated all the Pratt’s wants and desires, but it’s really the extraordinary tile selection on this project sets it apart from a standard bathroom project. For more information on how Country Creek Builders can help you convert your master bath into a master retreat, contact us or visit our website.
